Who is Dan Nolte?
I grew up near Emerald, attended a one room school with no indoor plumbing for three years, graduated from Malcolm High School and Doane University. I received a Masters in Public Administration for University of Nebraska Omaha in 1999.
I have a daughter, son-in-law, and three year old grandson.

I Believe in Public Service
- During my time in the Register of Deeds Office, we were able to establish a program to employ persons with learning disabilities to assist us with microfilm requirements across many county offices.
- As County Clerk, we both brought services into the online world and made the property protest process easier for citizens, with protest scheduling available in advance online and we’ve made hearings available by phone for those that aren’t able to be present at a hearing during the workday.
- As your Assessor for the last 4 years, we delivered more frequent and more transparent public service! I look forward to continuing that work in a new term!
